Big Ass Thanksgiving Turkey Legs

I was very sad to discover that turkey legs do not fit into the baskets of my deep fryer. NO. Thanksgiving is RUINED! I’ll have to bake these bad boys instead.

Ingredients:

2 turkey legs
2 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup oil
1 onion
1 large carrot
2 celery ribs
2 cloves garlic
Oregano
Pepper
Paprika
Garlic powder

Big Ass Thanksgiving Turkey Legs. RARR.

1. Gawk over how gigantic these things are. Find something big enough to bake them in like an aluminum pan, and add legs rubbing oil over them

2. Quarter onion, carrot and garlic and wedge in between legs

3. Pour in chicken broth and coat legs with oregano, pepper, garlic powder and a pinch of paprika

4. Cover with foil and bake for 2-3 hours on 350 degrees, pouring juices from the pan over the turkey every 30 minutes. Check with knife at 2 hours.

5. Pretend you’re at a Renaissance fair and take a healthy bite out of that big ass leg!
